Sunday at The Street With……….

In a purpose-built, architect-designed building wrapped around the magnificent oak tree that gives the venue its name, the Kim Harvey School of Dance has its home. Kim Harvey and Roland Hector, the building owners, made a special space for WVMT inside their building and this has allowed us to thrive and grow during our residency at The Oak over the past 4 years, despite CV19. Students range from 10 years into their 70s, and are studying music for pleasure, skills development, and, in many cases, because it is a career and a vocation they wish to follow.

Every year we present a showcase of our work, and every year we try to aim higher and build a concert that will surprise, delight, entertain and move our audience. We will sing, dance, act, play the piano, in solos, duets, and ensemble work, and can guarantee a great afternoon out. Dianna Nixon, a Churchill Fellow and recipient of several awards recognising her work with developing voices, will curate this event and accompany on piano.
