This month has been chockers. Last week we spent an intense time at The Street Theatre, working with David Sisco, a New York based MT composer, voice teacher, director and pianist. 8 ACT region performers and 2 writer/composers were in the room for the duration, and were joined by performer and composer/lyricist Vidya Makan for the last 3 days. We explored what is happening now in MT writing and performance. We held a forum, and the process culminated in a showcase of the work we’d explored. Dianna plans to build on this by visiting New York next year.
